At stock height, your vehicle’s drag link and track bar sit parallel. The more you lift your Jeep, the further your track bar and drag link drift apart. This differentiation can cause bump steer during suspension travel. Rough Country’s JL/JT High Steer Kit resets these two components back to an optimum, factory-like angle. 

Durable Construction and Design. Rough Country’s JK High Steer Kit features a massive 1.5in DOM tube design and fully greaseable tie rod end that’s considerably larger than stock and ready to tackle any terrain. Featuring a high sweeping angle and optional track bar bracket, this solution promotes better handling and steering without adding additional stress to your steering box.  

Installation. With minor drilling required, an estimated timeframe of 2-3 hours is predicted to complete the installation.

This kit MUST be used with a stock pitman arm.
MUST be used with track bar relocation bracket. If choosing "Drag Link Only" option, please ensure your vehicle has a track bar relocation bracket.
Does NOT work with aftermarket drop pitman arms
This kit can be used on Jeeps with 3.5”-4” of lift if equipped with a factory track bar.
This kit can be used on Jeeps with 4.5”-6” of lift with Rough Country's forged adjustable track bar or similar aftermarket, adjustable track bar.
Requires use of aftermarket wheels with a maximum of a 5" backspacing.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous 48 United States. Free Shipping promotions and standard shipping options are not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international destinations unless otherwise stated.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days from the date the order is placed. Some orders may ship directly from the manufacturer, ship from multiple locations, or require additional processing time for custom or specialty items.

Shipping methods such as 2-Day, 3-Day, and Next Day refer to transit time only and do not include processing time.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return a product?

To initiate a return, you must contact Trail Ops to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA may be refused or subject to processing delays and restocking fees. All returned items must be in new, unused, and resalable condition with original packaging.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Most returns must be initiated within 30 days of the purchase date. Open Box items must be returned within 7 days of purchase and are eligible for store credit only.
